Hello I’m Rini - a visual artist and tattoo artist I creating across tattooing, drawing / painting / digital mediums

My visual language is shaped by oriental aesthetics connected to my korean heritage and french baroque influenced by my experience of working as an architect

​

Over time these influences have evolved toward abstraction and spirituality guided by my own sense of beauty

​

Much of my work emerges from memory dreams emotions and intuition

I’m on the path exploring in what it means to be human - to feel to remember to transform and to express what cannot always be put into words

​

I’m drawn to creating ethereal almost otherworldly spaces - places that feel remembered rather than observed

​

Portals, dragons, ethereal beings, koi and botanical forms recur throughout my work as symbols of transformation and shifting states of reality

My practice continues to evolve through experimentation across different mediums with tattooing as a vital part of this journey

 

With almost decade of tattooing practice I view skin and ink as a medium where each tattoo becomes a small ritual - approached mindfully with intention and respect for the body

 

For me creating is a way of participating in life and shaping it

 

Floating between skin, paper canvas and digital realm I create ethereal compositions that exist between worlds, continuously exploring and expanding
